Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that affects the brain and causes recurring seizures. It can develop at any age, but it is one of the most common neurological conditions in children. Seizures can vary in type, severity, and frequency, and every child’s experience is different. While epilepsy can present unique challenges for children and their families, increased awareness, early diagnosis, and proper treatment can help improve quality of life. Understanding epilepsy is an important step toward reducing stigma and supporting those affected.
